Ohio typically falls in the middle of rankings for State tax burdens. When elected I will focus on identifying wasteful spending and fight to eliminate it from budgets and spending bills. Being fiscally responsible is only the first step in reducing the taxes for our citizens. We need to look at the States that consistently are ranked as having the lowest tax burden and see what can be incorporated into a plan for lowering the taxes for the people of Ohio. It isn’t simply a matter of promising to cut taxes, or no new taxes.
