Eric Terford: Bringing a Machinist’s Precision to Legislation

A machinist by trade Eric brings a pragmatic approach to problem-solving that our legislative body needs. Firm in his belief of individual rights, Eric envisions a less intrusive, socially conscious, and fiscally responsible government.

Born and raised in Levittown, Pennsylvania, Eric  graduated from Harry Truman High School, studied at Bucks County Community College and several specialized training programs. Dedicated to community service, Eric spent several years as a volunteer firefighter before moving to the Tampa Bay region of Florida.

In Florida, Eric worked as a real estate appraiser specializing in Eminent Domain, helping lawyers, property owners, and business owners negotiate fair settlements with the government. His commitment to fairness and equity has always been at the forefront of everything he does.

In 2007, Eric moved to Whitehall, Ohio. Here, he worked as a machinist while raising his daughter and until recently providing for his elderly father. Eric’s dedication to family and community has shaped his vision for a better future.

Now, it is time for Eric to focus on making our community a better place by identifying the root causes of challenges and developing community-based solutions to bring about positive change.
